Black Magic
My partner Aryeh Bookbinder and I were challenged to design a measuring machine in second year of Industrial Design at OCAD U. Inspired by the properties of light, I thought of an idea where we could measure three dimensional objects by taking their silhouettes. The machine features a blacklight on a welded and riveted rail system, which projects UV light onto a phosphorescent painted grid.
