In my spare time, art is my passion. My hobbies include ballpoint pen drawing, graphite drawing, painting in acrylic and watercolor, creating plaster and silicone molds, and ceramic work.

The first step of making my McDonald's fries plaster cast is creating a clay version.

The second step is to build a pour hole, so that the plaster can be poured into the silicone cast once the clay is removed from the silicone layer.

6 layers of silicone are then poured onto the clay model to mold for plaster cast. After this step, the mold is reinforced with another layer of plaster, and then the entire mold is cut in half. After removing the clay model, the mold is put back together, tied tight, and plaster is poured into the pour spout of the mold.

After a setting period, the white plaster model is ready to be removed from the silicone mold, and is ready to be painted. For the painting of the fries, I went with acrylic paint.

For this project I casted my own hand in alginate powder, then poured plaster into the mould in order to create a replica model of my hand. The model is very precise and even has my fingerprints!

This was an elephant-human hybrid skull created in clay. This model was later used to create a latex version.
